Understanding the difference
Satellites and sensors measure different things. Both matter.
A satellite sees the earth from roughly 700 kilometres away, using radar pulses that bounce off the ground. It covers vast areas with extraordinary precision - but it passes overhead every 12 days. A tilt sensor is 5 centimetres from the ground. It measures angle changes in real time and transmits every few minutes - but it covers one specific point. These are not competing technologies. They are complementary layers of the same system.

How a LandSure sensor works
Three layers, working as one.
Every LandSure sensor is really three things stacked together. The probe senses, a rugged gateway transmits over the cellular network, and your dashboard shows the reading and raises the alert. Because the gateway is cellular, it keeps reporting from a remote hillside, cliff edge or paddock with no power or internet on site - and never depends on your home Wi-Fi.
